GEN TV Rolling Television Production Teams
Students will be appointed by the executive producer to operate in rolling teams. All students will take responsibility at least once for each of the key roles of producer, production manager, director, writer, camera operator, sound recordist, vision mixer and editor over the course of production. All students will work collaboratively in these rolling production teams in segment production, web-purposing of content; and the making of the “behind the scenes” documentary material for the QPIX website. Units covered will include camera, lighting, sound, editing, producing, directing, writing, research, integration of media into web-environments, vision mixing, multiple camera shoots, developing television programs & segments, small business studies, and much more. All equipment and facilities will be supplied and episode budgets will be available.

Producing, Management and Administration
All of these roles are critical throughout all sectors of the industry – television, transmedia, television commercials, and film. They never go out of fashion and are not dependent on changes in technology, even if they way they are done evolves to match the new technical possibilities.
